Last night, we hosted an intimate Summer Soirée at Ixchel London, bringing together a wonderful group of content creators to celebrate our Surya and Himagni collections.
There is something incredibly special about taking relationships offline. We spend so much of our time seeing beautiful imagery, engaging with incredible content and watching creators bring our dresses to life through a screen. But sitting around one table, sharing food, conversation and laughter reminds you that there is so much more behind every post.
One of my favourite parts of evenings like these is getting to know the women behind the content.
You discover the stories behind the faces wearing Khanum's. You learn about the careers they've built, the resilience they've shown, the challenges they've overcome and the passions that drive them. While they're creating beautiful content for the world to see, behind the lens are women who are ambitious, hardworking, creative and incredibly inspiring in their own right.
Our Summer Soirée wasn't about campaigns or content. It was about community. About creating space for genuine connection, celebrating women supporting women and strengthening the relationships that make our brand what it is.
Surrounded by vibrant florals inspired by the warm, sun-soaked palette of Surya, and with guests wearing pieces from both Surya and Himagni, the evening felt like a natural extension of the collections themselves - warm, feminine and full of life.
As a founder, these moments remind me why we do what we do. Designing beautiful dresses is only one part of the story. Seeing them worn by remarkable women, hearing their experiences and building genuine friendships is what gives the brand real meaning.
A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Space NK, Dr Sam's and Lenore for helping us spoil our guests with such thoughtful gifts. It was a pleasure to share products from brands we genuinely admire, making the evening feel even more special for the incredible women who joined us.
